So today was a good day...First day of internet at the house and the first day I have received a job offer. It has taken about a month After sending in countless resumes and cover letters for job applications, to various employers.
I am not sure its going to be the most amazing job, but it is entry level, and it is the media industry which is what I want to get into, So I can put it on my resume. I will be doing some media planning for mitsubishi motors.
God is sooo good...always has a way of teaching me to just trust and follow him. I have been praying for a job offer by June 1st, for sometime now. And today is the 31st. What a guy. He came through.
Soon I will be able to purchase a camera and take some photos of the house, and everything going on out here, for all you easterners, who want to see what life is like at CA.
cheers.

through plains, mountains and the desert
So I have spent the last 28 hours of my life in a car. After about 15...the ride becomes one large blur, and it kind of feels like you have been in the car for a year, or some ridiculous amount of time, much longer thann you actually have been in the car.
anyway...I am on my way to LA. I am visiting with a friend of my Brother's in Las Vegas.
So far the scenic highlights of the trip have been I70 through Colorado, I reccomend everyone drive that section of I70 at some point inn their life. It is probably one of the most beautiful areas inn the country. Snow, pine trees, mountains everywhere, that are so high you cannt see the top when looking up. You also drive through a really sweet canyon towards the end, where there are enormous cliffs that shoot straight up onn both sides or the road.
The other big, notable highlight is coming south onn I15 in AZ. you are only in AZ for about 28 miles, but these twenty eight miles, you decend a 7% grade from somewhere arounnd 7000 feet to about 1500 feet, and this time there are desert mountains everywhere. Quite amazing.
The worst part has been Kansas by far. I hate that state with a passion. We almost got hit by lightninng 3 or 4 times inn the car -- some severe thunderstorms--remnants from the front that produced the F5 wedge that destroyed that small town in KS (greennsburg?) 2 days ago.
fun times, let me tell you. It was cool though seeinng lightning light up the sky every 3 seconds or so for a stretch of about 200 miles, but the rain and the scare of tornadoes and hail still scared the crap out of me.
anyway, that is the latest
I am running onn about 3 hours of sleep, and starving.
peace
